Icelandic Visitor Center

Set within Iceland’s dramatic wilderness on a rocky outcrop above a river ravine, this conceptual Visitor Center explores sculptural form as both architecture and experience. Inspired by fluid, white curved forms, the design creates a bold yet serene landmark rooted in its natural setting.

Drawing from Iceland’s clean architectural language, the project envisions a flexible community space that connects visitors to the surrounding landscape through atmosphere, flow, and form. A physical model built with mixed materials communicates terrain, texture, and spatial relationships, highlighting a design approach grounded in storytelling, concept development, and translating abstract inspiration into built environment thinking.
